CORK & SCORE

This advertising assignment required my team and I to discover underlying insights from a mock up wine bar case study. We had to come up with an idea for a new wine bar opening on Last Thursday at Alberta st. (community event held the last Thursday of every month with live music and fun activities). After research, we decided our main audience would be Millennials. Our guiding insight became "Millennials want a place where they feel like they have a sense of belonging, and can experience wine without feeling judged." We came up with the idea that instead of feeling judged, the customer can become the judge at our bar! We named our bar Cork & Score, a wine bar where customers can have great wine and also have an immersive experience when rating wine. We created: posters, gifs, interior design, outdoor design, in-store products, and social media designs. The images beside are my poster designs for the wine bar.

The objective for this advertising agency project was to come up with an idea to make PROPEL STUDIO (a non-profit architecture company) the first to mind option to non-profit partners looking for an architecture company. PROPEL wanted to expand their presence in the Portland area and partner with like-minded non-profit businesses in building and improving the community. Our target became to build relationships, develop network, and become top-of-mind. We decided on a gift box the included a personal hand-written letter and postcard (with the purpose of having a one-to-one casual meeting to build a genuine relationship) a booklet,  and an engraved wooden cube with company logo and "Let's build together" slogan. This box would be the beginning of a lasting relationship that would bring in more architecture projects to PROPEL. Above is my copy writing and design for a letter and postcard.
